What Happened to Summer?
Unbelievable. My last blog was almost five months ago. Summer came and went. Now the evenings are cool and the days shortening. Time to play catch-up.
I have seen absolutely nothing of Missie. We had two prearranged appointments to make beer at the Brew Kettle. She cancelled on both. Ah well, nature abhors a vacuum and my life filled with other people and events. I have tickets to see the three Playhouse Square shows I wanted -- Newsies, Pippin and Kinky Boots and will see them with other people.
My company acquired another business in Nashville and I have been traveling back and forth and falling in love with a new city. I have attended the Grand Ole Opry and enjoyed it, sat in honky tonks drinking cold beer, walked Broadway in search of a good place for meat and three.
I spent eight days in Ireland. (Separate blog on that topic forthcoming.)
I fell in love with an oddball movie about cosmic misfits. I have seen Guardians of the Galaxy four times to date: two in 3-D, two in 2-D, one of which I watched in Dublin.
I found yet another fandom to join: Orphan Black rocked my world.
I continue to struggle with my position at ATA. But change may be on the horizon. Real and drastic change.
To be continued...
