Oh Tumblr, What Hast Thou Done to Me?

I have been spending WAY too much time on other people's Tumblr accounts, so recently I decided to do something with my long-neglected account.  I have added a link to the list on the right, if you are curious.

I'm using Tumblr as my photo blog, since photos uploaded here on Blogspot tend to disappear after a couple of years. I upload my photos, like "Sunflower with Bowed Head After Rainstorm" above. But I also reblog other people's nature photography and stuff on science fiction, pop culture, comics, and paganism/mysticism. Once in a while, I even get political.

I have noticed that Tumblr seems to have its own culture and feel, separate and distinct from other social media websites. I hope my contribution is interesting. So far, I have very few followers, but that's not why I'm doing it. I just feel like expressing myself.

Speaking of politics, this election cycle is making me crazy. I'm ready to shut down my Facebook account because of all the right-wing nonsense. We shall see.
