Superman Returns... Thanks Bryan!

I went to see Superman Returns yesterday with my friend DeAngelo. FAN-Friggin-TASTIC flick! I think this was Big D's fifth viewing. Brandon Routh did an excellent job with the title role and Kevin Spacey managed to keep his portrayal of Luthor just this side of caricature. The time, heh, flew by. Bryan Singer, architect of the first two X-Men movies, clearly knows this genre. His homage to the first two Superman movies did those films proud. I can't say enough about this movie except this: Go See It!

I will again with my buddy Jim and his son Austin on Sunday.

Seeing the Spider-Man 3 trailer on the big screen was also a real kick. I'd already watched it on YouTube. Have I mentioned that I love YouTube?

And, I finally gave in and joined MySpace, primarily for Kevin Smith. I don't think I'll abandon this blog, but use MySpace to focus on the ViewAskewniverse and all things Smithian.
