2026 Boo Buckets and More

This year, McDonald's went with a Disney Villain theme for their five (count 'em, 5!) new Happy Meal Halloween Pails aka Boo Buckets. As usual for the modern versions, the handles are detachable and instead of lids, each includes a 2-sided sheet of stickers. They are... fine.

And once again, Dunkin and Tim Horton's got in on the fun with their own versions, filled with Munchins and TimBits respectively. The Tim version, while much smaller, has a cool glow-in-the-dark plastic that I really like!

The McDonald's buckets were difficult to collect this year. I tried sticking with one location and going back every day, waiting for them to change colors, but that failed. I tried going to different locations and scoping out what they had. Also fail. After somehow acquiring three of the purple Ursula buckets, I found a seller on eBay offer full sets for about $6 each with free shipping. That ended up costing less than trying to buy them with anything other than the cheapeast (hamburger) happy meal.

So, my collection remains complete!
